Are you in a painful loop, stuck and unable to move?

Do you find yourself in a painful loop? Are you in a cycle of negativity because your grief is causing you to get stuck and stay stuck?

We want to desperately move from the place where we just wallow and sink in despair. Then let’s move!

Go for a walk, knit, vacuum, draw or color, exercise. Latch onto whatever repetitive movement you enjoy that soothes your brain. Bring out your journal, listen to soothing music, pray, sing worship songs or songs that lift your spirit. Once your brain is calm, it’s more receptive to better stories, positive truth and healing words.

You are not alone.

One lie we hear frequently and we believe, “I am alone.”

You are not alone. Find a friend. Go to a loved one. We were not created to walk alone on this earth. We were created to walk alongside each other. We were created to receive encouragement from others. Find that encouragement. We were created to give out encouragement. Give out that encouragement to someone else. Who needs it. Just like you needed it.

God made the world for the delight of human beings-if we could see His goodness everywhere. His concern for us, His awareness of our needs: the phone call we’ve waited for, the ride we are offered, the letter in the mail, just the little things He does for us throughout the day. As we remember and notice His love for us, we just begin to fall in love with Him because He is so busy with us-you just can’t resist Him. I believe there’s no such thing as luck in life; it’s God’s love, it’s His. ~Mother Theresa
